ABAT – Words carry worlds within them
Words are bridges between people, between times, and between dreams.
They resonate with memory, longing, and new beginnings.
Thus, ABAT was born—from the desire to make literature a place of encounter:
between heart and mind, between tradition and renewal.
A space where every voice can find its tone—familiar or new, gentle or bold.
For every true word holds its worth.
ABAT is my personal literary label—a sign under which my books find their way into the world, carried by origin and continuity, by preservation and new beginnings.
ABAT – A Bridge Across Tales
The name Abat comes from Hebrew and can be understood as meaning 'you are'—'to be, to exist.' For me, this name stands for the essence of writing:
the act of being through language, the recognition of every self that finds the courage to express itself.
'Abat' (אַבַּט) derives from the verb להביט (lehabit), meaning to look, to behold, or to pay attention. Thus, Abat is not merely an imprint—it is a commitment to being through words. 'Ab' recalls the beginning, the source; 'Bat' evokes inheritance and continuation.
A place where origin and future meet.
